The Commander Islands Nature and Biosphere Reserve is going to present our educational game Toothed and Baleen on September 23 during the Sea of Life Festival in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. 

The event will become a part of large-scale ecological quest prepared by many protected natural areas for the festival. One of the stops will speak about whales – the main symbol of the biggest marine nature reserve in Russia. Here you will learn more about the species we observe in the water area and their behavior. 

The second stop invites you to take part in Commander Islands Dwellers game. A nice occasion not only to try your general knowledge, but also to acquire new skills and branded souvenirs and prizes. Other stops of the quest will host creative workshops about rock and seashell decoration techniques.

As you know, the Sea of Life Festival was born on Kamchatka and is organized since 2016. Last year the festival was granted the status of an official Kamchatka Region ecological fest. The main goal of this festival is to attract attention to conservation of marine mammals and their habitats.
