The Commander Islands Reserve to Join Geographical Dictation

The All-Russian Geographical Dictation will take place in the Commander Islands Reserve, in Nikolskoye Village on Bering Island. The event is to start on November 11 at 12:00 local time in conference room of the reserve. 

The Dictation will contain two parts, 30 questions all together. In each section you can score maximum 100 points. 

The participants will have 60 minutes to check not only their knowledge but also logic skills. Some questions will promote you to think deeper and find an answer as in 60 Seconds or What? Where? When? tv-shows. 

The results will be available on the web-site dictant.rgo.ru. To see your results, please, use the individual number given to every participant during the event. 

The participation is voluntary and free of charge. 

Russian Geographical Society has organized geographical Dictation every year at the initiative of the chairperson of Society’s Board of Trustees and President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin since 2015. The main goal of this event is to promote geographical knowledge and to attract attention of the broad public to Russian geography. This year the Dictation will take place on about 3 000 sites in 80 countries.
