Through Animal's Eyes

Modern technologies help us enter the animal world and see it in a completely different way, namely through the eyes of the animals themselves. Equipped with mini-cameras, the inhabitants of the Commander Islands, will reveal their secrets to us.

Senior Researcher of the CINBR, Ph.D. Biology Alexander Shienok conducts an experiment to study the ecology of the endemic subspecies - the Bering Island Arctic fox (Vulpes (Alopex) lagopus Linnaeus). This experiment will help us to see all the hidden and previously unexplored moments of animals' lives. To enter their world, inaccessible to the human eye, we installed cameras on the collars.

Scientists have prepared a camera of such a size that will allow the Arctic fox to move freely and shoot everything that is in front of its eyes. It will also show how the animal navigates on the rookery of marine mammals. We can recieve intimate or dramatic shots: searching and trying to get food, meeting with prey or other predators, the nuances of family life, or time with just recently born puppies.
